It is officially Spring! The faint chirping of birds can be heard in anticipation of the beauty that is soon to bloom. And as we head into a season of gentle, gradual warmth with evenings of lingering sunshine and shadows, we retire our bulky winter threads. We fill our closets with items suited for an evening fireside s'mores, a picnic in the yard, and drinks on the patio. As I begin this process for myself, there are a few fashion trends this season that are guaranteed to end up in my wardrobe. My favorite of these being a focus on the soft shades of the pastel palette.

These milky, muted hues are everywhere this season and I think they're fantastic! With pale pink, delicate baby blue, lavender, and muted mint, this saturated color palette offers a fresh and feminine look, one which I'm eager to incorporate into my wardrobe.

In a dusty pale pink, The Muse Dress from Hazel and Mae certainly meets this 2018 Spring fashion trend. The Muse Dress boasts a chic yet simple look, and is quickly climbing to the top of my list of favorites. The  scalloped hemline adds a delightful couture finish. The lightweight, knit fabric offers an airy feel.

I completed my look with a pair of SUGARFIX Mixed Media Tassel Drop Earrings by BaubleBar, currently available at Target. With luxe stonework and swishy tassels these earrings are a great statement piece that falls in line with the perfectly pastel trend. This delicate ensemble is perfect for an afternoon adventure about town or for an evening out!
